As a speaker, I have given talks on my books, my profession, and also to middle and high school students for graduations and career days. Therefore as a speaker, I am confident, inspirational, and easy to relate. I am able to break down difficult conversations into digestible chunks. I can speak about toxicology. I can speak science and goals. I can speak about my books in details. BUT most of my speaking engagements are about thanking yourself for making it through a day. We complete a different day and we are already push striving, regretting the next day. I speak about taking the step and pausing and learn how to thank yourself for the accomplish of the day.
The Workshop: Who Are You?
The workshop is used as a mechanism to help a person get their core definition and self. As individual, we tend to define our sense of self based on relational definitions (e.g. as a parent, as a graduate of X high school or university, as member of X fraternal organization, as X profession, etc.), This combination of relationship shape who we are and sometimes who we are in that moment. Due to these relational definitions, it is easy to lose site/hold of who we are as those relationships change or become lost. This workshop helps a person find a self definition independent of relationships.
Depending on the size of the audience, a personal affirmation can be taken from the workshop.
